Le Goût Zaïrois was inspired by the passionate culinary journey of our Executive Chef, Mercy Watuna. Growing up, cooking was never Mercy's strong suit. However, as fate would have it, she continuously found herself in the kitchen, where she discovered a hidden talent for crafting delicious and authentic African dishes. What began as a mere hobby soon blossomed into a fervent devotion, and Mercy began sharing her culinary creations with colleagues who were instantly captivated.

As Mercy's reputation for culinary excellence evolved, she began catering events and participating in food festivals: which quickly amassed a loyal following due to her dedication of preserving the rich and diverse flavors of African cuisine. Inspired by her culinary achievements and driven by her enthusiasm to share African cuisine globally, Mercy embarked on the next phase of her gastronomic journey. She teamed up with fellow chefs to launch Le Goût Zaïrois, a vibrant culinary haven where you can indulge in the rich, authentic flavors of African cuisine.
